Here are the steps to replacing your old dash speakers – example on a ’97 Plymouth Breeze. In this case the grille was only aesthetically designed part of the dash panel needed to be removed. Step 1+2: removing the partial dashboard panel is one of the trickier parts, as most cars have never been taken apart by owners Step 3: your vehicle speakers will look something like old, worn out and out of date Step 4: when removing the dashboard, you’ll find a little screw hidden underneath the side panel. You need to remove that panel first. Step 5: disconnect the battery whenever working with wiring Step 6+7: unscrew old speaker and get rid of any additional manufacturer’s components no longer needed Step 8: slice away old plastic to get access to wires needed with female disconnects Step 9+10: used 4′ speakers, connect wiring and you’re set Look at that baby! It’s blasting beautifully!
