I went to treatment for anorexia two summers ago and didn’t really find the group therapy offered within the treatment center all that helpful. However, I’m struggling pretty badly right now and my once weekly visit with my therapist doesn’t seem to be enough at the moment. So, for those of you who attend group therapy for your eating disorder, do you feel like it helps? I’m thinking a lot about giving it a try but I’m worried that it will be triggering for me.

I am currently getting counseling with a general counselor for Panic Disorder. I am on Lexapro and Xanax, which i am reducing my dosage of (xanax only) to see how i do on just the lexapro. I am hearing more about Cognitive Therapy and am wondering what the difference really is. I am alot better since my panic attacks began in April, but am worried about coming off my meds. Any advice on the cognitive therapy?

I have been thinking about having this done for years ( just to make my body proportionate) I did not want to just jump into…now I know I am doing for myself and nobody else so looking for advice on a doctor. If anyone could help me find that person, would be greatly appreciated!

I talked to my attorney about this and he completely blows this off stating that "we could say the statements were his opinion only and not medical expertise". Dictation becomes a legal document when transcribed and can be used as evidence. Doctor completely misrepresented me in the last two transcripts. Not sure how I should handle this. Any suggestions?

I have eczema on several spots on my body. I just use regular Vasaline Coco Butter lotion on my face and other spots. What can you recommend that i do or use on my face?

I am drinking a liver and kidney detox tea (from yogi). I have been doing this for 2 weeks, and this tea has dandelion root, burdock root, rhubarb extract, cardamom seed, etc.

Lately I have noticed that I have diarrhea on and off. Today I noticed that my stools had what appeared to be whole corn ears (the yellow part inside wasn’t there, but the outside film seemed intact in many cases).

Could this be my body’s way of getting rid of toxins, or is this a cause for concern?

I have no health problems, and my blood tests showed that my liver was functioning normally.
