Today we did a drill where you get into a low defensive stance, slam the floor with your hands, slide a little, slam the floor again and continue. I have no problem sliding but I did have a problem hitting the floor. I have back pain, minor scoliosis, and back spasms sometimes. My coach knows this and he knew why I could barely touch the floor. My coach knows this and it didn’t bother him that I couldn’t slam the floor, he knew why. But I hate feeling handicapped.

What should I do? Take some medicine before practice or what?

My head tends to jut forward and I suffer from low back pain. Please don’t say chiropractor or yoga/pilates. I’m looking for exercises and tips.

My husband asks the kids (100 pounds) to walk on his back to relieve his back pain. I believe that he is doing major damage. Any docs out there that can confirm – is this dangerous?

For the past week or so i have had lower back pain.
I have been crazy tired and sleeping weird hrs.
I have had cramps but no period.
My main concern is the lower back pain, this is not normal for me.
I have never had back pain before and nothing has changed in my
daily routine. Any Ideas or tips?

It seems like Lower back pain could be caused by both kidney yin and/or kidney yang…. how can one tell if they are kidney yin or yang deficient?…. is the pain and soreness different between the 2 type of pains that could hint one or the other?

Hi, does anyone know what causes sharp pain in the back of your neck? I haven’t been in an accident, and I do have a few bumps on the back of my neck, but if I touch my neck at all it feels like a sharp pain like a pinched nerve. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have been having pain in my lower back on the left side, under my ribcage for a couple days now. It feels like a tight muscle, but it keeps getting tighter. Is is just a muscle, or could it be something else?

A while ago I lifted something heavy and it popped, I had a pain when standing up or twisting my back.

It healed, but now my back is hurting again!

What is it? What can i do?

I am only 21 but have been suffering from lower back pain recently. Does anyone know what could be causing this or any exercises that could improve the pain. I am thinking it could be bad posture, but again this just started happening this past month. Help!
