Would this be suitable for landscape/action shots? Just a beginner here but that’s what I prefer to photograph. Thanks

Do you recommend a refurbished D5000 from Adorama? Cause I’m buying one.
cameralabs on June 8, 2010 at 11:03 pm
@23lo2a23 If it’s still under guarentee, why not? But please click through to Adorama from the partner stores page at cameralabs . com first to support me!

is it true that this camera has problems, its the best deal i can find, and a lady told me it had problems with the shutter speed, and it froze

Does the AF work for non live view mode?

So if this camera records video in the MPEG, then it is safe to assume that the D5000 is compatible with an iMac, right? I was deciding between this and the Canon 500D, but I’m leaning towards the D5000.

buying the camera with the VR lenze costs me €700, and €500 without it. Wat do you recommend? What optical zoom can i do with or without the lenze? Thanks in advance

i am so confused…i am gonna buy my first DSLR but i wondering whether it should be the nikon d5000 or the canon 500d. I looked on the samples of the videos and weirdly nikon takes better videos even though it has a 720 p for HD videos. I’m puzzled..help

@movania89
i am quite found of sigma, i do have a tamron too, but henche
my sigma is a wideangle f4 10-20mm and my tamron is 55-200 f4, so they quite need a bright surrounding or at the very least a tripod/solid base as f4 is rather slow.
ps. my best nikon lens 50mm f1.8 is merely 145euros, thats cheap! as you know that my 55-200mm tamron was about 200euros…look good, take your time and you’ll find very good lenses. check my pics at flickr: nitras note i am not pro, just enthusiast.
