I think it’s harder than hell to follow physio therapy when you are in pain. I watched as my neighbor lady went through knee replacement surgery. One day she came home and was having trouble getting her things out of her car and into her house. I went over and helped and asked how her knee was. She said terrible, it hurt so bad she wanted to cut if off when she was shopping, it hurt so bad and it felt like she was dragging it behind her. I asked if I might give it a look and I did some therapy on her knee for less that five minutes, took away all the pain the p.t. people left there and then went on to give her enough relief that when she stood up to see how good it was she turned around and went up the steps one foot after the other. She had been going up one, pull foot up, go up another pull foot up before that. She was amazed she could do that, so was I. I was only hoping to ease her pain, I did a lot more than that. So my theory about p.t. is just like the other person says, they are there to keep you coming back because they don’t know how to do it right in the first place. If they did they would never try to make a pain stronger with exercise. You release the pain and make the muscle stronger. If you don’t get the muscle released you are going to end up with a muscle with a lot of pain in it which is going to come back and get you later. As the other fellow seems to have found out if he has spent that much time with them.

Probably too late now the damage appears to be done.Physio after any op is vital, hospitals and the medical profession do not think these things up for fun someone has to train and get proper qualies` to do this job,and all for people who really need it,and it is essential that all the money spent on health care is used properly.
