I’ve read lots and lots of reviews but can’t seem to find any agreement among reviewers on the sites I’ve looked at. I’m looking for a compact camera with a fairly powerful zoom (6x at least) that is versatile (can take good pictures in low light and extreme close up as well as normal daylight conditions) I’m not looking for a DSLR. Can anyone recommend a camera for me? Thanks!

I want a camera that is less than 0, has a high ISO (I ghost hunt and take a lot of night pictures) decent battery life and I want it to be compact. I also want it to be cute, that’s pretty important haha. I would like something that has been favorably reviewed.

Im usually the assigned photographer at our personal gatherings, so I usually take a couple hundred pictures per gathering.
The camera will be for personal use only, but I would still like it to:
-Take good sharp pictures (good focus, not blurry)
-Have a good flash for night pictures
-Have a big LCD screen.
-Be durable, as I use it often and take thousands of pictures.
-Be compact
-Has a good battery life and uses a rechargeable battery (not AA or AAA batteries)
Last camera I had was the Pink Nikon Coolpix S9, but within weeks all of the buttons and menus stopped working, and since I didn’t have a warranty on it I couldn’t get it fixed, unless i paid 5.
I know Im being very specific on the preferences, but I want a camera that is worth the money.
Thanks for any suggestions or reviews on any camera you think would work for me.

Hi, I’m Jon. I’m looking for a Nikon camera that’s good for beginners on the more expensive range but not as expensive as the D90 ( I’ll be using it in college and for fun) . I was looking into the D5000 but I didn’t get the best reviews and I definitely want an upgrade from the D40. Can you help me out?

I have had a Casio Exilim EX-Z750(http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/casio/exilim_z750-review/) for over two years now and have loved it. I recently had some odd trouble with the LCD screen that makes the camera a hassle to use. I decided I would try looking for a new camera.
There are three key factors I am looking for:
1. Ease of use. I don’t use the camera for anything professional, I just enjoy taking a lot of general pictures.
2. Size. I like the small size of this camera so something along the same lines would be great. Also a large LCD screen like this one is preferred.
3. (Most Important!) I need a no shake feature, such as this camera’s anti-shake mode. My hands can shake a bit and every picture taken without the feature is a blur.
Are there any cameras you know of that would match what I am looking for?
Thank You.
Shortly after posting this question I found information about the A710 and it seems like the best fit so far.

Here are the specs: http://kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=11143&pq-locale=en_US
I need to be sure that it will take good photos, take photos quickly (so I wont be waiting a long time for the nest photo), and take shots of moving subjects. I need the battery to last adequately too. But right now I just need to know is the Kodak M753 a good digital camera? I have searched on the net and there are no reviews so what do you think? (By the way yes I am a student on a budget.. so any help is appreciated.. especially if you’re a bit of a camera expert.. but any help is great thanks!)

I currently have a Sony Cybershot I love the pictures but HATE the 3 second Shutter Lag. I am looking for a Digital point and shoot, with little or no shutter lag, and a 2.5" screen for review on back. Vibrant pictures, and under 0
can you recommend one by personal experience preferred.
The shutter lag is the deal breaker for me.
