We just had our hard drive camcorder AND our camera stolen, and I am hoping that this camera can take the place of both. I know that the video quality will probably not be as nice as our stolen camcorder, but we can only afford to buy one of the two things right now – and we need both!!
I have tried to find reviews online, but apparently the camera is so new, nobody has reviewed it yet. I have found websites that have a review – but they are also selling it.
I just really want an honest review!
Oh – this may sound really dumb, but I also want to make sure the video portion will record sound automatically.

My DXG-608 6 Megapixel digital camera was working okay until either me or my friend stepped / sat on it.
Now the lens won’t come out. It will still turn on, but it locks up whenever I set it to a picture taking mode like automatic. I can review the pictures that were already on it.
I think it locks up when I turn it to a picture taking mode because it needs the lens to come out. So is there some way I can manually (and safely!) get this lens to come out? Or can I actually repair it?

I just got my Christmas money and i really want a digital camera, and i only wanna spend about 0. I have heard so many reviews about the Samsung 8.1MP Digital Camera but i dont know if its good or not. what is a good camera to get for around 0???? please help!

Last night after a show I was going through my pictures and accidentally deleted the wrong video. I would really like to recover the video if this is possible. How could I go about recovering it from my digital camera? Instructions and tips are very welcome also!
Note: The video hadn’t yet been loaded into my computer. I was just reviewing it from my camera and deleted the video on there.
Note also: I have a Mac so I need Mac supported software

Since choosing one of these is a purely personal thing, I’d like to find somewhere that will show me what I’m looking for.
In case any of you know of a camera that fits my description, here are the requirements I’m looking for:

- *No* shutter lag! My strongest concern!

I had about 120 pics on digital camera and put another 6-8 on it. I went to review and disk was empty. I did not delete them… What happened? Camera then would take the pic but I could not review it. About 2 hours later I can take and review… Anyway in retrieving the 6-8 new pics?
